DJ MARKET TALK: ICE Sugar Consolidates Higher Amid Weaker Dollar 0817 EST [Dow Jones] - ICE world raw sugar futures are pushing higher as commodities benefit from the falling dollar. May sugar is up 54 points at 19.81 cents a pound, and the July contract is 46 points higher at 18.96. Sugar is consolidating recent sharp losses from liquidation that followed 29-year highs. Traders are looking to sell into bounces, an analyst notes. The greenback is down as debt fears abate in Europe. Liffe May white sugar is up $15.50 at $547.20 a ton.
