PAKISTAN: Eight bids offered at tender

Eight bidders have quoted prices in response to the international sugar tender for 200,000 metric tonnes floated by Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) on January 20, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
According to a TCP official Saturday, the highest price was quoted by Bunge SA at US$726.47 per tonne C&F while American Investment, UK quoted the lowest at US$599.80 per tonne C&F.
The decision on the tender will be taken on March 8 at the price evaluation committee meeting at TCP head office.
