BRAZIL: Egypt buys 90,000 tonnes

Egypt's state-owned Sugar and Integrated Industries Company (SIIC) said on Monday it bought 90,000 metric tonnes of raw Brazilian sugar for arrival in August or September, according to Reuters.

SIIC bought 50,000 tonnes from Bunge at US$527.50 per tonne and 40,000 from Vitol at US$532.45 per tonne both on a cost, insurance and freight basis, a company official, who declined to be named, told Reuters.
