UKRAINE: Just 4% of beet area planted as of April 11

As of April 11, sugar beet sowing started in seven regions of Ukraine, held on 13,000 hectares, which is 4% of the forecasted 302,000 hectares, according to Ukrsugar.
It is reported by the press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Ukrainian producers purchased 28,900 tonnes of plant protection products (96% of the needs), including 19,100 tonnes (96%) of herbicides for plant protection from weeds, diseases and pests.
