Ukraine has the potential to export 470,000 metric tonnes of beet sugar in the current 2011/12 season, according to Agra-Net.
The National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar), which incorporates all domestic sugar mills in the country, added that since the beginning of the marketing year in September, 2011, it has exported nearly 6,000 tonnes of beet sugar to Central Asia and Europe.
