DJ MARKET TALK: Raw-Sugar Futures Stuck Below 25c/Lb 2:51 (Dow Jones) Raw-sugar futures ticked up but still have not been able to close above their 100-day moving average of 24.99c/lb. "I see it bumping up against major resistance," says Olympus Futures senior analyst Charlie Nedoss. The last time sugar closed at 25c/lb was Nov 11, although prices have briefly spiked above that level twice this week. "I'm a little bit more negative," Nedoss says of the prospects for futures to crack that level. ICE March contract settled 0.9% higher at 24.73c/lb.
