DJ MARKET TALK: Liffe Sugar Rises In Small Bounce 1226 GMT [Dow Jones] Liffe white sugar futures trade higher in a bounce after shaving over 20% off its value since the beginning of the week. Initially it was profit-taking but now the market seems to be refocussing on the fundamentals, and with Brazil and India producing larger crops than was expected, the fundamentals are becoming bearish, says London-based broker. "Things are not as tight as they looked before," says broker. May +$7.30, or 1.4%, at $544.40/ton. New York's most-active raw sugar futures +16 points, or 0.8%, at 19.85 cents a pound.
