DJ MARKET TALK: Liffe Sugar Down Despite Recent Off-Take 1228 GMT [Dow Jones] Liffe white sugar futures trade lower despite recent off-take news. "Deficits are being pushed forward" as some importers continue to delay purchases, says London-based broker. Expect the raw sugar market to trade a range between 20 cents a pound and 24 cents a pound in the near term, says broker. Adds, weather developments in Brazil will be key to market fundamentals and price direction in the coming months. May -$14.90, or 2.5%, at $574.90/ton. New York's most-active raw sugar futures -63 points, or 2.9%, at 20.94 cents a pound.
