DJ MARKET TALK: Liffe Sugar Tumbles 3% On Speculator Selling 1659 GMT [Dow Jones] Liffe white sugar futures trade down 3% as speculator liquidation hits both the London and New York markets, says London-based analyst. "There's been a trend of speculators liquidating since February," says analyst. Adds, it's hard to know what is driving the negative sentiment; whether it's the fundamental outlook of a large crop due from Brazil and the expectation that there will be a world sugar surplus in 2010-11, or external factors including the stronger dollar.
