DJ MARKET TALK: Money Managers Increase Longs In ICE Sugar-CFTC 0839 EST [Dow Jones] - Managed money accounts added 4,131 longs to ICE world raw sugar futures and options in the week ended Feb 2, boosting their net long position to 191,878 contracts from 186,044 the previous week, the CFTC's disaggregated commitments of traders report shows. Money managers also decreased shorts by 1,703 lots. Funds are 14.2% net long, versus 14% last week. Speculative fund traders beefed up net longs as sugar's bullish fundamentals of dwindling global supplies and strong demand drove sugar futures to new 29-year highs.
