Thai Cane and Sugar Corp. sold 115,500 metric tonnes of raw sugar from the 2009/10 crop in a tender Thursday, out of a planned 182,666 tonnes, according to Dow Jones.
The premiums ranged from 30 to 65 points over New York futures, said the official, declining to be identified.
All but 31,500 tonnes were J-Spec with Louis Dreyfus, Mitsui and Marubeni among the main takers.
